Drill Tip

A drill is one of the most basic tools to have for many types of repairs. Power drills come in various sizes and may require a specific drill tip. The smallest drill tip is considered to be one-fourth of an inch. This size of a drill tip is typically inexpensive, but it is limited in its range of drilling options. The most popular size of drill tip is three-eighths of an inch. A half-inch drill tip can drill into larger holes and is compatible for heavy duty tasks.

There are two types of power drills. One power drill is a corded electric drill and the other kind of drill is cordless and has a rechargeable battery. Drills that have a particular drill tip can usually be set to a specific speed. Today, almost all modern drills have adjustable speeds to better suit the task at hand. Other than a drill tip, a power drill can have several additional features.
